A huge thank you to Alyson and ASDA Portlethen for selecting us as one of two charities chosen for award this quarter in the ASDA Foundation's Better Together fund.![]()
The funding will mainly go to our 'Cooking with Confidence' group that promotes socialising, meal planning, healthy communal eating, good budgeting and recipe sharing for older people.![]()
So, with ASDA's help, the larder will be well stocked for months to come and a lot of people will be significantly less lonely.![]()
As you may be aware, a big part of our operation is transport - and ASDA Portlethen is no stranger to our weekly minibus shopping excursions!![]()
If you or someone you know is over 50, living in their own home in Kincardine & Mearns, and in need of support, get in touch for info on our 500 plus social groups that cover art, walking, sports, fitness, books, digital support, crafting, loss counselling and, of course, volunteering opportunities.![]()
All groups are dementia-friendly and some are specifically tailored for those living with dementia.![]()
